Village Inn Motel

What a little gem. You'll be hard pressed to find as nice a place to stay in any of the chain hotels. The rating is a two star, and I get that, but this motel is one of the nicest places we've stayed. Very clean, nice large room, all the amenities you need for a good night's sleep - and excellent Wi-Fi! I highly recommend this motel.

We were on our way back downstate after a beautiful fall color trip around the U.P., Minnesota & Wisconsin and found this cute place to stay! Village Inn Motel is a super cute & clean establishment and are so glad we were able to stay here. Everything about it was perfect. Very easy to find, located away from the big city activities! Keyless entry, check in on line. Had chocolates on the table upon our arrival which my husband quickly snatched up & said they were really good. All the amenities you could ask for were supplied. Very Comfortable beds. Talking to the lady as we were leaving she told us a little of the history of this Motel. They have done a fantastic job with all they have put into this. IF...we are ever back in this neck of the woods, we will definitely be sure to stay here. When we left there, it was foggy, and we stopped on the side of the road to take photos of a ghost rainbow! It was so cool! Look it up...it's rare but it IS real! Thanks for the clean, comfortable, beautiful room!

Room was large and super clean, loved the depth of the bathtub also. Bathroom was super clean, the cleanest I’ve ever seen at any hotel/motel. It’s about 40min from the NMU, but the scenery made up for the distance on the way to the college to visit our son. Wouldn’t change a thing, it’s perfect and everyone was very polite and kind here.

Stayed one night after a basketball game at Superior Central. This is my new favorite place to stay in the UP. A little out of the way, but well worth the few extra miles. Clean, up to date and just walking through the door was refreshing. The hosts were pleasure to visit with. I will look for ways to adjust my travels to make this the place I stay at.

Absolute gem. Conveniently at mid point between Munising and marquette. Quiet place. Clean rooms and that don't have typical damp smell when you enter. Old style welcome with a chocolate bar and coffee pods. You get a keypad pin by sms for checkin. Great experience.

We stopped at this little inn while on vacation and were so glad we did. It was clean and had everything we needed. And the owners were great at communicating details to us. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area!

Place is great. Very clean rooms. Friendly front desk staff. Stayed here on a snowmobile trip. Definitely will be back.

Don and Lynn are very kind, welcoming and hospitable.our room was quite spacious, 2 comfortable queen size beds a good sized microwave and a refrigerador large e than i expected. The shower had hot water and 3 grab bars for safety. The carpet was clean and they provide a place to put your shoes when you enter. They texted and emailed me my room number with the access code the morning of my arrival. The sunset was just outside our window and the room were very quiet. I never heard a peep from the room next to me. It was a pleasant surprise to have a YOOPER chocolate bar waiting for us in our room when we walked in. It was a lovely, quiet, and relaxing stay at the village inn, and I’ll stay again next time im in the UP.

We stayed here whilst touring Michigan in July and August. For two adults and a 7 year old it was just right. Spotlessly clean, quiet, well managed and maintained, and excellent value for money. Yes, it is in a location that's a little out of the way, but, wjere it is is charming. My son and I enjoyed sitting out the back, on a bench watching the woodpeckers and deer.
